How much information have you lost?

In 1954 IBM released a small, affordable business computer that weighed over a ton and had a memory of about 2000 words. Today your standard office computer has a memory capacity equivalent to 50,000 books and has more computing power than NASA had when it landed men on the moon. You have a massive capacity for information storage but who manages all that information?
