Google Search Essentials

Including common words
Put a "+" sign in front of it. (Be sure to include a space before the "+" sign.)

A phrase search
Put quotation marks around the phrase. "And this is the phrase"

Exclude from search
Use the minus (-) sign to exclude words from your search. ie; bass -music

Highlights your search terms in the cached pages of a website

link:www.website.co.uk
Provides all the pages that link to that website

related:www.website.co.uk
Lists all the web pages related to or similar to your chosen web page

info:www.website.co.uk
Lists the information held on a website

define:internet
My favourite. Defines the word or finds definitions for the word you enter

search terms site:www.website.co.uk
This limits the Google search to the website you have indicated

intitle:search terms
allintitle:search terms
Limits the results to web pages with search terms you define in their titles.

allinurl:search terms
inurl:search terms
Limits the results to web pages with search terms you define in their titles.

~internet
The tilda makes google search for related words too.

hi-fi £150..£200
The .. between two numbers indicates a range to search between.
