Skype is an amazing thing.
It allows you to talk to other skype users for free over your existing broadband connection. I have just tried it having avoiding doing so for ages and ages.
I just felt that a tool limited to only those that also have that tool was pretty much useless. How wrong I was!

Skype is very easy to use, it is very well documented with video help files and animated instructions. It is TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY FREE!!!!
I was astounded when I actually tried it and it works so well. Of course the sound quality can waver a bit and sometimes an element of background noise appears. But these are minor set backs.
